Preview:Arsenal vs Tottenham
MATCH PREVIEW AND REVIEW
On Sunday afternoon, we will play our second North London derby of the season, and Arsenal will hope to replicate their previous result from October. In the previous fixture, the Gunners ran out comfortable 3-1 winners after a first-half masterclass by the players. Arsenal will come into the game with bags of confidence, regardless of the fact that it's an away fixture. Tottenham have only won 2 of their last 5 fixtures, with the most embarrassing one being a 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa. They’re lacking confidence and form, so this should be a comfortable win for the Gunners, but it is away at Tottenham, a game that Arsenal haven’t won for 8 years.

H2H Record
Arsenal has won three of its last five games against Spurs and lost the other two. They have scored eight goals in those five games and conceded six. Obviously, we can’t just say it will be an easy win regardless of Tottenham’s poor form this season. Their past results say that they can win games against other teams and are always a threat throughout the game. We never seem to be able to keep a clean sheet against them, so an early goal is probably their best chance of doing anything in the match.
Team News
Arsenal
Gabriel Jesus is the most noticeable player to be missing this game, due to a knee injury that will keep him out until the middle of February. Elneny and Nelson are doubts for this game but are both expected to come back soon.
Tottenham
Tottenham’s only injured players for the fixture are Lucas, who is suffering from an Achilles injury, and Rodrigo Bentancur, who is out with an adductor injury.
Predicted Lineups
Arsenal are expected to continue their 4-3-3 lineup, and Tottenham should continue in their preferred 3-4-3 formation.
Arsenal:Ramsdale,White,Saliba,Gabriel,Zinchenko,Partey,Xhaka,Odegaard,Saka,Nketiah,Martinelli
Tottenham:Lloris,Romero,Dier,Lenglet,Emerson,Bissouma,Hojberg,Perisic,Kulusevski,Kane,Son
Match Prediction
This is a game that Arsenal should be winning with ease. Tottenham are such a negative side that they are unlikely to even come out of their shell for the entire match, leaving Arsenal to play around with the ball and score. This should be a comfortable win for the Gunners, and anything less should be seen as disappointing. In a season where we are destroying the old tags that used to belong to the old Arsenal that were spineless and without structure, Sunday would be the perfect day to get that eight year monkey off our back and show our quality. I predict a 3-1 win again.
